Prison Cell Comps

Hi everyone! Here are my comps for the prison cells. I tried to investigate many different styles of prisons, levels of prop presence, and color. My favorite is number 6, but let me know if there's a door style or environment element you think would be good to incorporate into the final design!

  1. I like number 6 and 1's color. I like number 6 more because of the color of it. However, it seems a bit colorful for a prison with the purple, green bed, and red carpet even though I think that's what makes it appealing. I like the design overall. The wall still seems a bit clean unless you want it that way. I would make the wall seem more dirty and have more scratches just for the texture part. =)

  2. I like 5 and 6 a lot. As much as I like 6, I wonder if it would be a good fit for the mood for that point in the story. 6 kinda makes me feel warm inside but maybe it could still work lol

  4. These are really cool! Number 6 is really nice because the props add so much personality. I like the investigation you did for an interesting toilet and sink design too! I think it might be nice if there is something on the screen left wall (nothing major, but something to describe the two character or the history of the prison). You could also just add detail in the paint chips and grime on that wall.

Here are some examples from the movie "Down by Law" of what I'm talking about:

  5. I like 1,5,and 6 too. 6 can use less colorful colors since prison probably looks less like homey feel. 1 has a lot of wears and tears on the walls and stuff so that is a nice touch.
